William Drysdale (Owner / Captain)
Born and raised in Visalia, California, Captain William joined the United States Marine in 1984, which took him to many a clime and place. One of those being Okinawa, Japan where he got SCUBA certified. Over the course of many deployments to far away places, he continued his diving education and acquired numerous certifications, including Dive Master. Upon retirement from the Corps as a Flight Engineer in 2005, he continued his diving professional education and obtained the level of a Master Instructor.
Capt Willliam has been diving on the Outrageous V since 1997 and instructing all levels of SCUBA in the local area since 2005. He holds a 50 ton Masters License, is a DAN/DEMP Instructor, PADI EFR Instructor, and PADI Master Instructor. His 28 years of experience diving on the local wrecks and 40 plus years of diving experience globally .
As the Owner, President and one of the Captains of Outrageous Diving Inc, it is Captain William’s mission to ensure that you have an outrageously safe and amazing experience aboard the Outrageous V.

Rob Farrell (First Mate / Second Mate)
Rob started mating on the Outrageous V in 2021. He became a PADI Instructor in 2016 and a Master Scuba Diver Trainer in 2018. His favorite dive activity is wreck diving and is currently pursuing Tech Diving Instructor certification.
As a specialty instructor, he teaches Nitrox, Boat, Wreck, Deep, and Search and Recovery courses and is actively teaching at Discovery Diving Co. Inc as well as privately. As a retired U.S. Marine, he enjoys beach activities with his spouse, four daughters, and grandchildren in the greater Topsail area.

Molly Farrell (First Mate / Second Mate)
As a military kid, Molly has had the adventures of growing up all over the county, but Surf City is where her heart is. Her love for the ocean blossomed during the days spent exploring beaches from coast to coast. She is passionate about scuba diving, shark tooth hunting, and crafting which allows her to express her creativity while connecting with the sea. Her favorite ocean animal is the Giant Pacific Octopus- it never ceases to amaze her! She cant wait to share her enthusiasm for marine life and inspire others to learn, love, and protect our beautiful oceans.
Janelle Fleming (First Mate / Second Mate)
Janelle was certified in 1989 as a teenager living in FL, but didn’t really fall for diving until 1996. That is when she and Jason went on their honeymoon in Roatan. Since then, she has been and is an AAUS science diver with UNC Chapel Hill, a commercial diver in New Zealand, and an instructor with PADI. She hopes to bring you the best diving experience as part of the Out V crew! 🙂
