William Drysdale (Owner / Captain)
Born and raised in Visalia, California, Captain William joined the United States Marine in 1984, which took him to many a clime and place. One of those being Okinawa, Japan where he got SCUBA certified. Over the course of many deployments to far away places, he continued his diving education and acquired numerous certifications, including Dive Master. Upon retirement from the Corps as a Flight Engineer in 2005, he continued his diving professional education and obtained the level of a Master Instructor.
Capt Willliam has been diving on the Outrageous V since 1997 and instructing all levels of SCUBA in the local area since 2005. He holds a 50 ton Masters License, is a DAN/DEMP Instructor, PADI EFR Instructor, and PADI Master Instructor. His 28 years of experience diving on the local wrecks and 40 plus years of diving experience globally .
As the Owner, President and one of the Captains of Outrageous Diving Inc, it is Captain William’s mission to ensure that you have an outrageously safe and amazing experience aboard the Outrageous V.
Dean Anderson (Captain)

Brent Greenberg (First Mate / Captain)
Born in Denver and raised in Steamboat Springs Colorado. He recently retired from the United States Marine Corps as a Flight Engineer and is now pursuing a career in the yacht and diving industry. Brent started his offshore boating 18 years ago and fell in love with life on the water. Since then, he has become an avid offshore fisherman and in 2006 became PADI certified rescue diver at Discovery Diving.
Brent has been diving with the Outrageous family since 2006 and has done live aboard charters in the Bahamas, has extensive dive experience in the Caribbean and Pacific. With Brent’s worldwide travel experience and sense of humor, he looks forward to making sure all guests enjoy a great time aboard.
Jonathan Walsh (First Mate / Second Mate)
The boat is his mistress and he is her primary 1st mate. He has been running charters with ODI for two years and has also run charters as Captain of a smaller 6 pack. Jonathan was introduced to scuba diving via military training in 2001, since then he has accumulated over a thousand dives, and has been involved with many professional training courses with various different platforms both recreationally, and technically.
His certifications include PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, PADI specialty instructor: Deep, Wreck, Nitrox, Sidemount, Drysuit, Full Face, Night, Self Reliant Diver. Scuba Diving International-Scuba Instructor, Technical Diving International, Advanced Nitrox Instructor.
Qualifications include Advanced Trimix Diver, Trimix Rebreather Diver, and Cave Diver. Jonathan also has a special interest: Petting Sharks.
Victoria Ward (First Mate / Second Mate)
She is currently training to become a second mate for ODI. She has run charters on my own boat and is a certified rescue diver and licensed oupv captain. Victoria loves the adrenaline rush mixed with the calm feeling that she gets while diving. She also enjoys helping people have as much fun as possible.
Rob Farrell (First Mate / Second Mate)
Rob started mating on the Outrageous V in 2021. He became a PADI Instructor in 2016 and a Master Scuba Diver Trainer in 2018. His favorite dive activity is wreck diving and is currently pursuing Tech Diving Instructor certification.
As a specialty instructor, he teaches Nitrox, Boat, Wreck, Deep, and Search and Recovery courses and is actively teaching at Discovery Diving Co. Inc as well as privately. As a retired U.S. Marine, he enjoys beach activities with his spouse, four daughters, and grandchildren in the greater Topsail area.
